Nearly 70 years ago, Nestle’s Thomy condiment brand revolutionized the way people dressed their food with its iconic squeezable aluminum tubes. Thomy found its ways into people’s homes and hearts, quickly claiming the biggest market share in mustard and mayo. More recently, Nestle and McCann Germany brought even more convenience to Thomy fans with yet another innovation, the most fun and unnecessarily efficient way to sauce your sausages: The Saurk.

The world’s first tube-tachable snack-cessory turns Thomy tubes into pieces of cutlery that dish out perfect amounts of Thomy joy with every squeeze. Promoted via a contest, the reusable, recyclable and dishwasher-safe device saw demand from 37 countries on 5 continents. The first 2000 Saurk requests were filled within 24 hours and created a 73% increase in web traffic and a 63% conversion rate. Within two weeks, the campaign achieved 270M impressions, $8 Million EUR worth of PR coverage and nearly 1 million engagements.
