War and climate change have led to mass migration – and we’re unlikely to see a change in this pattern soon. Poland has so far received the largest number of refugees from the war in Ukraine, with 10% of the country’s population being Ukrainian.

In this session, we’ll discuss this topic with Agnieszka Holland, Director of The Green Border, a film that tells the story of tragedies faced by refugees. She’ll be joined by activist Jana Shostak, and Jerzy Hołub, Mastercard’s Chief Marketing Officer, who implemented the ‘Where To Settle’ project that helped thousands of refugees find a new place to live in Poland.
